Frequently Asked Questions

How do I become a carrier for Logistics Worldwide?

Select Start Carrier Registration on this page to open our Descartes MyCarrierPortal registration. Enter your USDOT number, complete the requested company information, and upload the documents requested. Our team reviews each submission, and Carrier Operations can help if you have questions.

Do I register with my DOT number or my MC number?

Use your USDOT number. The registration page asks for your DOT number, not your MC number. If you do not have a DOT number or need help, contact Carrier Operations before continuing.

What documents will I need for carrier setup?

The registration portal lists each document requested for your company. Carriers typically have their operating authority, certificate of insurance, and W-9 ready before they begin.

Does submitting the carrier packet guarantee a load?

No. Registration and load availability are separate. Submitting a packet starts the registration process; it does not guarantee approval or an available load. Our team can discuss your equipment, service areas, and current capacity.

What types of freight and equipment do you work with?

We work with carriers for full truckload, LTL and volume LTL, flatbed and step deck, refrigerated, intermodal and rail, and domestic and international freight.

How do I contact Carrier Operations?

Email TLOps@logisticsworldwide.com or call 1-844-488-SHIP (7447), Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Eastern. We respond within one hour during business hours, and after-hours inquiries are answered the next business day. Include your company name and DOT number, plus your load or reference number for an existing shipment.

Where can I find Logistics Worldwide’s broker documents?

Our MC operating authority (MC-662433), reference carrier packet, and other broker documents are on the LW Broker Documents page. For an updated certificate, contact our team.
